ISO 14064, published in 2006 and revised in 2018-2019, forms part of the Environmental Management Standards (ISO 14000). It serves as a practical tool for governments and businesses to calculate and control greenhouse gas emissions and facilitates greenhouse gas emission trading. ISO 14064 consists of three parts:

ISO 14064-1: Specification with guidance at the organization level for quantification and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions and removals

ISO 14064-2: Specification with guidance at the project level for quantification, monitoring and reporting of greenhouse gas emission reductions or removal enhancements

ISO 14064-3: Specification with guidance for the verification and validation of greenhouse gas statements

CQC enhances the credibility and trustworthiness of greenhouse gas reports for businesses by conducting third-party verifications.
