China Quality Certification Centre (CQC) has recently revised the certification rules No. CQC11-448422-2021 "Certification Rules for High-Voltage Complete Switchgear Assemblies", involving the certification category 021009.

I. Main Revisions

GB/T 7674-2008 "Gas-insulated metal-enclosed switchgear for rated voltages of 72.5 kV and above" (hereinafter referred to as the "old version standard") has been updated to GB/T 7674-2020 "Gas-insulated metal-enclosed switchgear for rated voltages of 72.5 kV and above" (hereinafter referred to as the "new version standard"), with corresponding clauses revised based on the new version standard.

Added "Section 3.3 Application Review" and "Section 3.4 Formulating the Certification Plan".

"Section 6 Evaluation and Approval of Certification Results" has been changed to "Section 6 Review and Certification Decision", with corresponding expressions modified.

Added "Section 9.1 Content Covered by the Certification Certificate".

II. Requirements for Implementation

Effective immediately, CQC will implement certification using the new version standard and issue certification certificates based on the new version standard.

This standard version update does not involve the handling of existing certificates.
