To All Concerned Enterprises,

Amendment No.1 to GB 9743 - 2024 and Amendment No.1 to GB 9744 - 2024 have been released and will come into effect on May 1, 2025. They shall be implemented in conjunction with GB 9743 - 2024 and GB 9744 - 2024. In accordance with the stipulations of these amendments, the "Notice on the Version Update of Compulsory Product Certification Standards for Motor Vehicle Tires: GB 9743 - 2024 and GB 9744 - 2024" (issued on December 6, 2024) is hereby revised as follows:

Article 1 is revised to: "Commencing on April 25, 2025, CQC is authorized to accept applications in accordance with the 2024 - edition standards and their Amendment No.1. As of May 1, 2025, CQC will issue certificates solely based on the 2024 - edition standards, discontinuing the issuance of certificates based on the 2015 - edition standards."

Article 2 is revised to: "For car tires and truck tires that have already obtained compulsory product certification, the applicants are required to complete the version - update to the 2024 - edition standards (excluding Clauses 4.6 and 4.7) by October 31, 2025. The verification of Clauses 4.6 and 4.7 of the 2024 - edition standards must be completed by April 30, 2026. In case of failure to complete the standard version - update within the specified time limit, CQC will place the certificates on hold. If the certification modification is accomplished during the suspension period, the validity of the certificates will be reinstated. If the certification modification remains uncompleted by the end of the suspension period, the certificates will be revoked."

Article 4 is revised to: "Amendment No.1 to the 2024 - edition standards has made modifications to the relevant provisions of Clause 4.1 'Principal Tire Parameters'. Applicants must strictly adhere to the requirements of the amendment."
