Based on the implementation of CCC certification for household and similar electrical appliances, China Quality Certification Centre (CQC) has revised the "CQC-C0701-2024 Implementation Rules for Compulsory Product Certification of Household and Similar Electrical Appliances". The product certification categories involved are 0701 - 0703 and 0705 - 0720. The relevant requirements for implementing the revised certification implementation rules are hereby notified as follows:

I. Main Revision Content of the Implementation Rules

1. Reference standards for relays and motor thermal protectors for compressors in Appendix 3 have been modified.

2. Electrical strength test method for electric blankets, electric heating pads and similar flexible heating appliances in Appendix 2 has been added.

II. Requirements for Implementing the Revised Rules

1. As of today, CQC will start implementing certification in accordance with the revised rules.

2. This revision does not involve the handling of existing certificates.
