China Quality Certification Centre (CQC) is a professional certification body established by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of China (CIQSA) and approved by the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People's Republic of China (CNCA). It operates as an independent public institution with legal entity status.

CQC is engaged in various certification areas, including Compulsory Product Certification (CCC certification), CQC Mark Certification, product certification, management system certification, and validation and verification of Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) projects.

As a non-profit certification body, CQC does not accept financial sponsorship from any social entities in any form. Its financial income comes from certification audits and training fees, and it operates under an independent financial accounting system. CQC maintains stable financial standing and implements a robust financial supervision mechanism. It possesses sufficient resources to support its certification systems and can provide satisfactory services to applicants across a wide range of certification fields and professional areas.

CQC assesses and analyzes the responsibilities and risks associated with its certification operations and/or activities. To address potential liabilities related to its certification work, it has established a certification risk fund and, under the unified arrangement of CNCA, is gradually obtaining professional liability insurance.
