Recently, CQC was invited to participate in the 17th China International Conference on Sustainable Information Disclosure, jointly hosted by the GoldenBee Intelligence and the China Council for Sustainable Development (CCSD). Pan Chunsheng, Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of the China Association for Public Companies, Ndidi Nnoli-Edozien, Member of the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB), Dai Yibo, Member of the IFRS Sustainability Standards Advisory Group and Vice President of Responsibility & Future, Rolf Dietmar, Expert from the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), Fredré Ferreira, Head of Sustainability Reporting Governance and Value Chain at the European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG), Dong Deshang, Head of Wind ESG Ratings, Zhang Jiutian, Executive Director of the China Green Development Collaborative Innovation Center at Beijing Normal University, as well as over 200 representatives from relevant government departments, international organizations, universities, research institutes, industry associations, and enterprises attended the event.

The conference conducted in-depth discussions on topics such as global trends in sustainable information disclosure, trends and characteristics of sustainable information disclosure by Chinese enterprises, and disclosure of climate and biodiversity information. During the event, CQC expert delivered a keynote speech titled "ESG Assurance Facilitates the High-Quality Implementation of the Guidelines". He stated that ESG assurance providers are not only the guardians of quality for the implementation of the "Guidelines for Sustainable Development Reporting by Listed Companies" but also the transmitters of trust and promoters of application. ESG assurance involves independent third-party verification and validation of the ESG report information published by enterprises to ensure the authenticity, accuracy, and completeness of the data and information, which is crucial for enhancing the credibility and transparency of corporate reports. With the continuous improvement of relevant policies, ESG assurance has shown enhancements in compliance, transparency, and standardization across the four aspects of regulation, application, practice, and service.
