To accelerate the green and low-carbon transformation and upgrade of the building materials industry in the autonomous region, with the assistance of cadres from CQC, companies including Tibet Construction Technology Co., Ltd., among others, have been designated by the Department of Economy and Information Technology of the autonomous region as the backbone enterprises for green building materials production for the first and second batches in 2023. This recognition followed the submission of evaluation documents and the on-site verification organized by the department, in accordance with the "Interim Measures for the Cultivation and Recognition Management of Backbone Enterprises for Green Building Material Production in the Tibet Autonomous Region," to assist in upgrading the technological capabilities of the enterprises.

In August 2023, CQC responded to the CCIC group's initiative by dispatching Liu Xuxing, a certification engineer from the Product Certification Department Ⅱ, and Lei Lei, the head engineer of the Ecological Development Department at the Guangzhou Branch, to establish a "Dual Carbon" task force at the CCIC Group's Tibet company. Their strategic assistance involved promoting and propagating product certification knowledge, assisting companies in diligently carrying out ecological conservation, strengthening efforts in solid waste and water pollution control, arranging seminars by green building material experts within the company, and aiding in the advancement of corresponding building material production processes. Additionally, they checked the "Catalog of High-Energy Consumption and Outdated Mechanical and Electrical Equipment (Products)" and assisted the companies in upgrading their production lines, arranging for responsible personnel in the areas of factory quality, production, and management to visit advanced process factories on the mainland for research and learning. Through the technical diagnostic assistance provided by the dispatched personnel, the companies have effectively reduced their consumption of natural resources and environmental impact throughout the entire product lifecycle, demonstrating characteristics of energy conservation, emissions reduction, safety, convenience, and recyclability. As a result, the companies' capabilities for green production have been substantially enhanced. Ultimately, these efforts have led to the companies being recognized as "backbone enterprises for green building material production" in the autonomous region. The dispatched personnel from the CQC participated in the application process for all backbone enterprises' recognition and assisted in issuing green building material product grading certificates to three of the participating companies.

At present, CQC's support team in Tibet has assisted CCIC Group's Tibet company in signing cooperation agreements with the regional authorities, including the Department of Economy and Information Technology, and several enterprises. This support aims to help the government establish benchmarks for green development and to facilitate enterprises in their transformation and upgrading efforts.

Tibet serves as a crucial ecological barrier for our nation, bearing a significant mission and responsibility in achieving carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals. In the future, leveraging the current status of sustainable development and energy resource endowment in Tibet, CQC will continue to work in collaboration with CCIC Group's Tibet company. In doing so, the aim is to provide technical services in carbon emission verification, industrial energy efficiency diagnosis, certification of low-carbon environmental products, energy audits, greenhouse gas inventory and product carbon footprint assessments, and carbon neutrality certification. CQC will also actively engage in cutting-edge technical research, contributing to the establishment of Tibet as a national ecological civilization highland and the on-time achievement of carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals.
