On July 31, 2023, CQC and Amazon jointly organized the "Empowering China’s Global Certification" conference in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, focusing on electronic product safety compliance and certification management.

The conference was part of CQC's“ Empowering China’s Global Certification" initiative, with a specific focus on information technology equipment and lithium-ion batteries. It provided a platform for industry associations, certification bodies, testing bodies, Amazon platform traders, and manufacturing experts, totaling more than 300 attendees, to gain insights into global certification and technical requirements. Under the guidance of the China Consumer Product Quality and Safety Promotion Association, Mr. Zhang Xihui, Director of the Shenzhen Institute of Standards Research and the Shenzhen Zhongxin E-Commerce Transaction Security and Promotion Center, attended the conference. Mr. Lu Jianwei, General Manager of Product Safety Compliance and Trust at Amazon China, also delivered a speech. Mr. Liu Jiang, Vice Managing Director of CQC, along with Mr. Wang Kun, Vice Chairman of the China Consumer Product Quality and Safety Promotion Association, delivered the opening remarks.
