On May 17, the Suzhou Industrial and Information Technology Bureau organized a training session for Suzhou's 2023 "Near Zero Carbon" factory project. Officials from the Suzhou Industrial and Information Technology Bureau, energy conservation departments of county-level cities, and representatives from over 50 green factory enterprises attended the meeting. CQC Nanjing was invited to participate and provide training.

During the session, experts from CQC Nanjing discussed the national carbon peak and carbon neutrality-related plans and requirements, key difficulties in the application process for "Near Zero Carbon" factories, and provided a detailed introduction to the policy background of "Near Zero Carbon" factories, the significance for high-quality development of enterprises, as well as evaluation indicators and application requirements.

The pilot project for creating "Near Zero Carbon" factories in Suzhou aims to further enhance the production technology level, energy efficiency, carbon emissions management, and brand competitiveness of industrial enterprises in the Suzhou region. As a supporting institution for green and low-carbon technologies of the Suzhou Industrial and Information Technology Bureau and the third-party evaluation organization for Suzhou's "Near Zero Carbon" factories, CQC Nanjing will continue to leverage its technical advantages, promote the green development, and contribute to the green, low-carbon, and high-quality development of enterprises in the Suzhou region.
