CQC was Invited to Participate in the APEC SME Business Forum 2022

From December 21-23, the 2022 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) SME Business Forum was held in Shenzhen. Xu Xiaolan, Vice Minister of Industry and Information Technology, Wang Xi, Standing Committee Member and Vice Governor of Guangdong province, Qin Weizhong, Deputy Secretary of Shenzhen Municipal Committee and Mayor, and Supattanapong, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy of Thailand delivered video speeches. Liu Jiang, Deputy Director of CQC, and the manager of Product Certification Departments VI were invited to attend the meeting.  

At the Special Forum on Specialization and New Development of Digital Empowering SMEs, Liu Jiang gave a keynote speech on "Digital Transformation of Authoritative Evaluation Empowering Enterprises", and introduced the related contents and achievements of intelligent manufacturing evaluation service of CQC in empowering digital transformation of SMEs in standardization, digital related evaluation, diagnosis and consultation. He highlighted that CQC will always devote itself to helping small and medium-sized enterprises improve the quality of products and services through high-tech professional services such as certification, testing and standard developing.  

The manager of Product Certification Departments VI delivered a keynote speech on "Data Quality of Carbon Market Construction" at the Forum of Low Carbon and Green Development Empowering Special New Enterprises. She said that data quality is the foundation of carbon market construction, and carbon verification is an effective means to improve data quality. It is suggested that quota allocation schemes and methods should be explicitly included in various industries in the national carbon market. At the same time, she suggested paying attention to the formulation and consistency of carbon emission data quality control plans of enterprises in various industries, conducting spot checks on the results of carbon emission data submission and verification of local enterprises, and carrying out continuous capacity building for key emission units, local competent departments and directly affiliated institutions, and verification technical service institutions.
