On July 12th, the ECO Forum Global Guiyang 2021 was grandly opened with the theme of "Low Carbon Transformation and Green Development, Building a Community of Shared Future for Human and Nature". CQC was invited to attend the opening ceremony of the forum and the theme panel on deepening the construction of national ecological civilization experimental zone during the 14th Five-Year Plan. 

Xie Zhaoxu, Managing Director of CQC, released the Technical Specifications for GEP Accounting and the GEP Accounting Reports of five pilot counties (cities) in Guizhou Province at the theme forum. At the same time, he introduced the policy background of GEP accounting, the GEP accounting index system of Guizhou and the GEP accounting results of five pilot counties (cities) to the participants. In addition, according to the Implementation Guidance for Carbon Neutralization in Large-scale Events (Trial), CQC conducted an independent third-party verification of greenhouse gas emissions in the theme forum and issued a carbon neutralization certificate for the event.

To practice the idea of ecological civilization construction, In 2021, CQC assisted the Development and Reform Commission of Guizhou Province to carry out the pilot project of ecological product value realization mechanism in Guizhou Province, and finally formed the Guizhou local standard of Technical Specification for Accounting of Ecosystem Gross Product (GEP), and calculated the GEP of five pilot counties (cities), namely Chishui City of Zunyi City, Dafang County of Bijie City, Jiangkou County of Tongren City, Leishan County of Qiandongnan Prefecture and Duyun City of Qiannan Prefecture.

In recent years, CQC has carried out a series of work and accumulated rich experience in the realization mechanism of ecological product value. In the future, CQC will continue to actively provide more high-quality technical services for green development and ecological civilization construction in various provinces and cities, and provide strong support for the realization of ecological product value.
