CQC Issued Carbon Neutrality Certificate to Tianjin Intex Auto Parts on its 20th Anniversary

On April 16, 2023, Tianjin Intex Auto Parts Co., Ltd. ("Tianjin Intex") held a celebration of its 20th anniversary in Tianjin. Xie Zhaoxu, Party Secretary and Director of CQC, was invited to attend the event and delivered a speech. More than 800 people attended the event, including You Tiancheng, Party Secretary and Management Committee Director of Tianjin Economic and Technological Development Zone, Masayosh Shirayanagi, President of Toyota Boshoku., Kazuo Koide, CEO of Toyota Boshoku China, Yu Sen, Deputy General Manager of Changchun Faway Automobile Components Co., Ltd., and Yoshio Kamime, General Manager of Tianjin Intex.

At the invitation of the organizer, CQC conducted a third-party verification on the carbon emission and the implementation of carbon neutrality. It has been confirmed that the implementation process of carbon neutrality in the preparation, holding and finishing stages of this event met the requirements of the Implementation Guide for Carbon Neutrality in Large-scale Events (Trial), and the emissions generated by the event are neutralized by canceling the same amount of carbon credits that meet the standard requirements. At the event site, Xie Zhaoxu issued a carbon neutrality certificate to the organizer on behalf of the CQC.

Xie Zhaoxu said that the successful achievement of carbon neutrality in this event is another significant practice for CQC to assist enterprises to actively respond to climate change, conscientiously implement the national "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality" goal and practice the concept of green development. Tianjin Intext has also laid a foundation for its own low-carbon management and sustainable development in the future by promoting carbon neutrality.
