Standards including GB/T4207-2022 Method for Determination of PTI and CTI of Solid Insulating Materials have been implemented or will be implemented (see Table 1).

China Quality Certification Centre has revised CQC13-036047-2009 Performance and Safety Certification Rules for Non-metallic Materials and Component and other certification rules, and the categories involved are 134001-134008. The relevant requirements for the revision and implementation of the Rules are hereby notified as follows:

II. Requirements of new standards implemented:
1. CQC will adopt the new standard for certification and issue the certificates under new standards from February 1, 2023.
2. The certification holder of the certified product can submit the application for certificate renewal to CQC from the date of issuance of the Notice. Relevant difference test is not required for this certificate renewal. See the annex for the differences between the new and former standards. The certificate under new standards can be replaced after being evaluated by CQC.
3. The renewal of certificates under former standards will end on February 1, 2024. The renewal of certificates that are not completed within the time limit will be suspended; the certificates under former standards that have not been changed before May 1, 2024 will be revoked.
4. Each relevant laboratory shall report the status of testing capabilities under new standards to CQC as soon as possible, and record the status of qualification recognition and approval of the laboratory under new standards.
