To those related enterprise,

The standard of Safety of Household and Similar Electrical Appliances--Particular Requirements for Heat Pumps，Air-conditioner and Dehumidifier (hereinafter referred to as the new standard) has been published and taken effect on May 1^st , 2013 and the associated standard GB4706.1-2005 Household and Similar Electrical Appliances-Safety Part 1:General Requirements has been implemented, the details for standard changing are as follows.

1. Applicant can voluntary choose to follow new standard GB4706.32-2012 or old version GB4706.32-2004 to submit application since the new standard released until May 1^st, 2013. 

2. China Quality Certification Center (CQC) will adopt new standard and issue new version certificate since May 1^st, 2013. For clients who hold old version certificates should submit the changing application since the notice released and before next factory inspection. It will be issued new version certificate after qualified in differentia the test, the lab should provide sample differentia test report to certificate holders. Certificate changing should be completed before May. 1^st, 2014, or it will be suspended if the change is overdue. CQC will withdraw the certificates for those can not complete certificates changing before Aug. 1^st, 2014.

3. Applicant can voluntary choose whether to follow manuscript for testing during the period from this notice released to GB4706.32-2012 published. After printed version released, it needs supplementary test if there are quite differences, if it has no need CQC will issue new version certificate.
