Introduction of CQC Africa Branch
The CQC AfricaBranch (hereinafter referred to as the “CQC Africa Branch”)was officially established on 4 September 2025. It is aregional certification service organization of China QualityCertification Centre (CQC) in Africa.
Its primary functionsinclude promoting China’s certification system, providing variouscertification services, undertaking conformity assessment activitiesentrusted by clients, and developing certification markets in theAfrican region.
The CQC AfricaBranch is based in Johannesburg, South Africa, and operates inthe same premises as China Certification & Inspection GroupAfrica （Pty）Ltd.(CCIC Africa). Leveraging CQC’s technical expertise andprofessional capabilities in certification and accreditation, and incooperation with the office network and laboratory resourcesestablished by CCIC Africa across the African continent, the CQCAfrica Branch provides certification services to clients throughoutAfrica.

Through theapplication of video surveillance, Internet of Things (IoT), RFID,positioning technologies and data platforms, real-time collection,analysis and management of cargo status, logistics routes, inspectionprocesses and test results are achieved. This effectively enhancestransparency, reduces trade risks and strengthens supply chaincredibility, providing technical support for China–Africa tradefacilitation and supply chain finance.
