To all concerned enterprises,

 China Quality Certification Centre (hereinafter referred to as CQC) has recently revised CQC 34-461135-2015 “Type Certification Rules for Wind Turbine Generator Systems”, covering Service Category : 030012. The main revisions and implementation requirements are as follows:

 I. Major Revisions to the Rules

(1) Newly added certification reference standards:

• IEC 61400-3-2:2025

• IEC 61400-22:2010

• IECRE OD-501:2022, IECRE OD-501:2025

• IECRE OD-501-1:2017, IECRE OD-501-2:2017, IECRE OD-501-3:2017

• IECRE OD-501-4:2024, IECRE OD-501-5:2017, IECRE OD-501-7:2019;

(2) Removed  referenced standard: IEC TS 61400-3-2:2025;

(3) Clause 4 “Application” has been revised;

(4) Appendices 1, 2, and 3 have been newly added:

• Appendix 1: Product Description

• Appendix 2: Application Form for Enterprise Custody of Assessment Documents

• Appendix 3: Certificate for Custody of Assessment Documents;

(5) The order of original Clause 5.3 “Type Test” and Clause 5.4 “Manufacturing Capability Assessment” has been swapped.

 II. Implementation Requirements

 CQC shall accept applications under this category in accordance with the revised rules starting from August 1, 2026.

 For certificates already issued, applicants may submit conversion applications to CQC starting from August 1, 2026. The conversion of existing certificates under the previous version shall be completed by July 30, 2027. Certificates not converted by this deadline will be suspended. Certificates still not converted by September 30, 2027 will be revoked. 

For certification projects already underway as of the effective date, applicants may submit conversion requests no later than September 30, 2026.
