To all concerned enterprises,

 In accordance with the filing requirements for voluntary product certification rules issued by the Certification and Accreditation Administration of China (CNCA), Product Certification Department VI of China Quality Certification Centre (hereinafter referred to as CQC) has completed the revision of CQC16-372115-2024 “Antibacterial Certification Rules for Kitchen and Bathroom Ceramic Products”, covering service category : 109008. The main revisions and implementation requirements are as follows:

I. Main Revisions

(1) The testing standards have been updated from CQC/PV07001-2024 to GB 21551.1-2024, GB 21551.2-2024, and JC/T 897-2014;

(2) The criteria for certification unit grouping have been revised.

II. Implementation Requirements

1.As of the date of issuance of this revised rule, certification shall be conducted in accordance with the updated version, and new certification certificates shall be issued. 

2.Holders of certificates issued under the previous version of the rules may apply to CQC for conversion to the new version. Such conversion may also be carried out in conjunction with certificate renewal, annual surveillance, or change requests. All conversions must be completed by December 30, 2027. Certificates not converted by this deadline will be suspended by CQC. Certificates still not converted by March 30, 2028 will be revoked.
