To all concerned enterprises,

In accordance with the requirements of the Certification and Accreditation Administration of China (CNCA) regarding voluntary certification registration, Product Division VI of China Quality Certification Centre (hereinafter referred to as CQC) has finalized the revision of the certification rule CQC21-020304-2011 for Products Restricting the Use of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) in light of standard revisions, covering service categories: 130101, 130102 and 130103. The revised contents and implementation requirements are hereby notified as follows:

I. Major Revisions

1.The certificate title has been changed to Certification Rules for Products Restricting the Use of Hazardous Substances (RoHS); the certificate name is revised to Certificate for Products Restricting the Use of Hazardous Substances (RoHS).

2.The IEC test method standards corresponding to the EU Directives have been updated.

II. Implementation Requirements

1.All certifications shall be carried out in accordance with the revised new rules starting from July 1, 2026.

2.Existing certificates will remain valid and require no further action for transition.
